“Key influences”
I signed onto the course as I desperately needed some eyes on the work I’d been doing. I’d got to the point where I didn’t know if I was wasting my time or whether I’d be chucked off the course (yes, good old impostor syndrome).

“Creating the book cover”
Early on I’d sent my publisher some ideas for the cover design, mainly screengrabs of book covers or film posters that might inspire the in-house design team. One idea that wouldn’t go away was the sense of one or more of the title words being scrambled.
